You can now securely share virtually any 1Password item with anyone, even if they don't use 1Password!

To get started, open the share menu and select "Share" to generate a link, specify who you want to share the item with and for how long, then send out the link however you wish. It's as simple as copy and paste, without the security risks that come from pasting sensitive info directly into chat and email.

Use it to send logins to an external contractor, share the Wi-Fi password with your visiting in-laws, or pass a Secure Note to your partner.

• Closing 1Password while editing or creating a new item sometimes resulted in an item with no title shown until you locked and unlocked the app. {OPW-4964}
• When the Create Item permission for a vault was revoked while offline, 1Password would repeatedly attempt to upload offline changes even though it could no longer make changes to items in that vault. {OPW-4958}
• 1Password didn't skip migrating Document items in the read-only vaults. {OPW-4958}
• When using a hardware key to complete multi-factor authentication (MFA), 1Password would stop syncing without providing any user feedback. Hardware keys aren't supported with 1Password for Windows and attempting to use one would send an invalid MFA code. 1Password will now show a banner explaining the problem. Clicking the banner allows you to re-enter your MFA code. {OPW-4971}

• Emptying the trash or favoriting for more than 999 items would fail with an internal database error due to an internal max limit. We now group them into batches to be processed separately. {OPW-4847}
• 1Password could attempt to process more than one lock request when already processing the first request. This could occur when disconnecting the PC remotely as multiple system events could result in multiple lock requests. {OPW-4849}
• When emptying trash in All Vaults with items that cannot be updated due to permission issues, 1Password would incorrectly show the number of vaults that can be emptied instead of the number of items that would be emptied. {OPW-4854}
• 1Password incorrectly duplicated the username field in the Conflicts section after resolving a sync conflict. {OPW-4857}
• On certain PCs, 1Password could spam or loop because it had no available pipe resources to use. {OPW-4844}

1Password mini: your new best friend

Speaking of pretty and powerful, 1Password mini has been completely redesigned. You'll automatically see logins for the website you're visiting, and selecting one will fill your username and password for you. Its one-time password will also be copied to your clipboard if two-factor authentication is enabled. How’s that for handy?

1Password mini will hop in and offer to save new logins as you sign in to your favorite sites and services. It will also help you organize new items by allowing you to name them, assign tags, and choose a destination vault.

Like a true best friend, mini is always there for you. It will alert you if a website has been breached so you know to change the password for that item.

Say “hello” with Windows Hello

1Password 7 adds support for Windows Hello so you can unlock 1Password using your fingerprint or your beautiful face. Security is always our top priority, so you will need to provide your Master Password the first time you unlock 1Password. Following that, let Windows Hello unlock it for you.

• Unlock with Windows Hello is here! This feature is automatically enabled once you unlock with your Master Password first and then as long as 1Password has not been terminated, it will show the button next to your password field to unlock with Windows Hello. {OPW-670}
• Check out the brand new look to the lock view; updated lock/unlock animations, the blue circle spin effect, new incorrect Master Password alert colors, the addition of the lock button, and of course, the new Windows Hello button. {OPW-1872}
• To quickly activate the Windows Hello button, press the enter key in the empty Master Password field and say Hi to Windows Hello.
• We've rebuilt the sidebar completely, which now blends in the vault selector and its vault list. The first thing you'll notice is the three columns that used to be there are now all in the same unified view.
• In the new sidebar, when you expand the vaults list, you can click on the more (***) button to manage the vault settings such as as enabling/disabling sync, removing the vault from 1Password database, and if you need to find the vault's external folder on disk, select to reveal them in Windows File Explorer. {OPW-1965}

• Auto-completion is now available for the tags field in the item editor or use its dropdown to select an existing tag, including nested tags.{OPW-633}
• Bulk tag editing support is now available, right-click on one or multiple items on the item list to add, create new, or remove tags. The ability to modify tags on the sidebar (including renaming tags) is coming in a future update. {OPW-433}
• Power up your search with search filters, use file: to search for a specific item. If you're looking for a file named 1Password7isawesome.png, enter file:awesome. We also support "tag:", "title:" and more is coming in a future update.
• 1Password now support standalone vaults in addition to 1Password memberships. {OPW-2092, OPW-1488}
• 1Password 7 now supports standalone Windows license, you can add or buy the license via 1Password menu > License. {OPW-1798, OPW-2147, OPW-2174}
• 1Password also supports read-only mode for standalone vaults if no license has been registered. {OPW-1798, OPW-2194}
• You can now copy standalone items with attachments and custom icons included to 1Password accounts. {OPW-1992}
• 1Password now offers to migrate your standalone vault to your new 1Password account or you can do so later via 1Password Menu > Import. {OPW-2170}

• Inline document preview is now available for images such as JPG, PNG, BMP and GIF files, size is limited to 1MB or smaller. They're cached in 1Password's local encrypted database and you can find its setting in Settings > General. {OPW-872}
• 1Password can now scan your screen for the one-time password barcode (two-factor authentication) to save it into your Login items. To use this, click on the barcode icon next to your TOTP custom field and select from my screen. {OPW-1553}
• 1Password now highlights your search results. {OPW-1793}
• 1Password has been localized into 11 languages including French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional. You can choose the language via 1Password Menu > Language. {OPW-685, OPW-578}
• Type in Window for quickly typing your content into an app window you select. To start using this: open 1Password mini, right-click on an item and expand the field you want to "Type in Window".
• 1Password mini will temporarily remember the last item you've selected when you're copying your data on top of a specific app. This is useful for when copying the password after pasting in the username in an app that's not a web browser.
• You can now add a custom icon using the clipboard that contains either an image file, a URL to the image file itself, or the file paths copied via Windows File Explorer. {OPW-1854}
• You can now drag and drop files onto the item list to create new Document items. {OPW-1786}
• Added a search box to the Share and Link Existing menus.
• 1Password will now save the name of the website you're on when you're generating a new password via 1Password mini. {OPW-1712}
• Added the Lock option to the jumplist on the taskbar. {OPW-1884}
• We've added the Backups tab to the Settings to help you find the backup files for your standalone vaults with Folder Sync enabled. Restore options will be added in a future update. {OPW-1946}
• We've added more menus to help you access functions quickly: the View menu allows you to manage display settings, like concealing passwords, show Rich Icons and more. Help > Troubleshooting has some common troubleshooting actions, like cleaning up 1Password logs. {OPW-1618, OPW-1898, OPW-1850}

• 1Password now uses its in-house solution for update checks, which means HockeyApp registration is no longer required for beta updates. {OPW-933, OPW-667}
• Added Check for Updates to the 1Password menu for quicker update checks. If 1Password detects an available update, it will slightly change the color of the 1Password menu to alert you of an update in addition to the bottom banner. {OPW-1701}
• 1Password now submit crash reports to our own 1Password.com endpoint instead of HockeyApp. For our beta users, we now submit crash reports automatically. {OPW-667}

Improvements

• Hundreds of UI improvements throughout the app; modern look for arrows, fonts, tags, scrollbar, and the context menu. The way you interact with your items have been improved as well with the new selection/hover design along with a refreshing look to the welcome/setup/sign-in views, and so much more.
• In addition of improving the UI, we've also made them flexible to allow them fit with the new localizations we now support.
• In 1Password settings, we've moved the top tabs to the left side instead.
• The vault selector button has been updated to split the vault information in two lines; it now shows how many vaults are in All Vaults or in a specific 1Password account. It also now badges the account avatar on the vault.
• Trash has been moved from the Categories section to the bottom of the sidebar. {OPW-1560}
• Favorites no longer include item list sort headers, it is now a streamlined list. {OPW-1783}
• Sidebar is now accessible from the top to the bottom with the keyboard control only. {OPW-1977}
• The share button that was originally in the item list has been moved to the Item list as a submenu.

• Improved network change detection, 1Password now reconnects quicker and more accurately. Internet availability checks have also been improved to check for other network types such as subnets and routed networks for both IPv4 and IPv6. {OPW-1849, 1887}
• Latest 1Password Brain update (27) is now included for the 1Password browser extensions. {OPW-1911}
• Most of 1Password resources have been combined into a single 1Password.exe file. This makes for a quicker install/update due with less files needed to be replaced.

In today's update, we've dialed back the change we made in the last update to ensure that 1Password will retry connecting every ten minutes and only if an hour has passed with no successful connection attempt.

• If 1Password was not able to successfully sync for an hour, it will switch to retrying every ten minutes until a successful attempt has been made as a fallback mechanism. {OPW-1762}

Fixed

• Do not crash the entire 1Password app if its external Native Messaging Host process caught a few specific internal exceptions. {OPW-1763}

This is our last major update for you before we go into 2018 and it contains a lot of polish with over 100 changes. Here's the TL;DR on what's new in 1Password 6.8:

• 1Password has a new title bar to host common 1Password actions allowing you to manage more from within your Windows app. Navigate 1Password from the 1Password menu, use the Accounts menu to access your 1Password Account details and display your Setup Code to quickly set up new devices. Plus, use the Help menu to quickly access our support site or contact our helpful support team.
• Sidebar is now prettier with a modern translucent design, icons have been updated and polished throughout the app, plus text is sharper in all resolutions.
• The Share menu, context menus, tags, buttons, and settings view have all been given a makeover.
• Manage what vaults you want to see in All Vaults allowing you to customize 1Password to display exactly what you want where you want it. Keep your personal items handy at home and leave your work items at the office or use it to hide your archive vault.
• You can now fill using the keyboard shortcut in Microsoft Edge. Keep your fingers on the keyboard no matter which browser you're using.

• 1Password sidebar is now translucent and comes with a refreshed design for the context menu throughout the app.

• Also new in Settings, All Vaults is available to let you pick specific vaults to view in All Vaults, which is great for excluding your archival vault if you don't need to see it all the time. {OPW-432}
• Fill Login keyboard shortcut support (Control + \) is now available for 1Password extension in Microsoft Edge. {OPW-748}.
• The Autosave dialog now has the Never AutoSave for this Site option available in the dropdown option on the Not Now button. {OPW-669}
• Press Control + C any time in the 1Password mini password generator window to copy it automatically, no need to select the password or click the copy button. {OPW-937}
• When creating a new password on a site with 1Password mini password generator, 1Password will now save the site's address into the Password item. {OPW-1052}
• Added new search filters; tag:, id: and uuid:. tag: can be used to narrow the list to a specific tag without selecting a tag in the sidebar and you can also enter it without any values to find all items without a tag. The last two are for filtering the item list to the specific item's internal database ID or its UUID; this is useful for the diagnostics purposes. {OPW-472}
• Wildcard (*) is now supported in the Autosave exclusion list (Settings > Browsers > Autosave). {OPW-704}
• Edit is now available for the right-click menu on the item list. {OPW-1255}
• In the item list, you can now type to scroll to the first match. {OPW-897}
• 1Password will select the first category, Logins, when displaying the New Item menu and it now supports type to select, typing 'b' would select `Bank`. {OPW-1662}
• 1Password account avatars are now supported. {OPW-453}
• Authenticated proxies and proxy auto-config files (PAC) are now supported. {OPW-673, OPW-1651}
• 1Password will now display international Unicode domains (punycode) in the website fields and also, display the English translation next to it. {OPW-1609}
• 1Password log console is now directly accessible via Control + ` in its new console design to help with real-time diagnostics when reproducing issues.

Improvements

• Design improvements on the custom title bar, its menus, item list, and the sidebar. {OPW-1594}
• We've redesigned the buttons and applied to all the buttons we can find in the app. {OPW-1324}
• Updated the vault menu style on the Import, Save Login, and Vault for Saving views. {OPW-1291, OPW-1345}
• General UI improvements throughout the app; denser item list, an improved icon styling with a border, a new sidebar tab indicator, new button design for web form details/password history, one time password digits are separated more consistently, and more. {OPW-1375}.
• We've redesigned the Share menu; it now includes vault icons, it is more accessible, and grouped by 1Password accounts. The Share menu is also disabled when there is nothing to copy. {OPW-484, OPW-570}
• The tags has been redesigned in the item viewer, it now has bubbles! The new design is coming to the item editor soon. {OPW-327}
• Favorite button has been moved below the item title in the item details viewer, matching the design of other 1Password apps.
• 1Password will now get Rich Icons using the Login's entire website address instead of its main domain only. {OPW-1620}
• 1Password now validates the Login's URL and software titles before requesting for a Rich Icon; it will no longer request it for Login items that have example.com URL saved, IP addresses and other invalid addresses. In addition, software license items must have a title, which cannot be the default title and it must be less than 80 characters. {OPW-1608}
• Search is now more responsive by waiting a bit after user input before starting the search or clearing it. {OPW-1162}
• Revealing super-long passwords are no longer truncated if it doesn't fit, it'll wrap to the next line. {OPW-1630}
• 1Password no longer display extra confirmation dialogs when trashing and restoring items as these actions are no longer irreversible as it was in the first early builds of 1Password 6. {OPW-1638, OPW-677}
• Pressing the space bar now works on drop-down controls to bring up its menu and pressing space bar on a selected item will select it. {OPW-1473}
• Major accessibility fixes throughout the app; majority of item details viewer, item editor, and Settings are now accessible. {OPW-820, OPW-550}
• Accessibility; account names are included when announcing the vaults in the Share Menu. {OPW-388}
• Error messages are announced to screen readers when there are errors on the 1Password Sign In view. {OPW-1513}
• Changing vaults in 1Password is now consistent with both 1Password window and 1Password mini in sync. {OPW-1439}
• When manually entering the account details on the Sign In view, 1Password will append the sign-in address to help complete it quickly.
• We've rebuilt some icons that are stored in our custom font to support the improved font rendering at the smaller font sizes.
• For 1Password Teams customers, modifying custom templates will now be updated in real time within 1Password. {OPW-1228, OPW-754}.
• Updated to the latest 1Password.com authentication APIs. {OPW-1622}
• Updated to the latest 1Password Brain version, 26, for improved 1Password extension filling and saving. {OPW-1627}
• 1Password can now handle up to 10 concurrent native messaging pipes, meaning you can run up to 10 different browser user profiles at the same time. {OPW-1673}
• 1Password now updates your account profile regularly to ensure that it is displaying the correct information for the devices you use. {OPW-1623}
• 1Password also includes its user agent when connecting to 1Password.com. {OPW-1613}
• 1Password should now display sharper text on regular monitors and on older Windows versions. {OPW-1268}
• Export is now available as a contextual menu option; select the items you want to export and right-click to export them. {OPW-1354}
• Changed the keyboard shortcut for Settings from F10 to F9 as F10 is reserved by Windows for the title bar menus.
• Syncing in 1Password is now done in its own sync thread and as the result of this, using 1Password should not be affected by a sync session in the background. 1Password now also works better offline.

• 1Password mini now mentions Microsoft Edge instead of RuntimeBroker when using Edge.

• In 1Password mini, selecting an item to view or edit in 1Password main window would not work if the main window is in the middle of a search. {OPW-1159}
• Control + Shift + C didn’t work in the main window. {OPW-1223}
• Doing a manual save a specific domain would not work if the said domain is on the Never AutoSave on these domains list. {OPW-1329}
• Watchtower filtered the item list based on the selected tags/categories instead of the selected vault. {OPW-980}
• Watchtower incorrectly flagged Login items with no password fields. {OPW-1109}
• The Watchtower red banner had rounded corners, it is now flat to fit the overall design. {OPW-981}
• Certain UI elements didn’t show up on older low-resolution monitors. {OPW-701}

• On the Sign In view, 1Password was focusing the Master Password field when 1Password Account Code is not being used, it now focuses the first field. {OPW-630}
• If the 1Password database was copied to another computer, 1Password would crash due to the use of local device encryption keys. {OPW-1490}

Fixed

• 1Password did not focus itself properly when opening it via taskbar and the attempt to address this in the last update caused a few regressions. The fix has been removed in this update and we will revisit this in a future update. {OPW-1353}
• In certain networks, 1Password would attempt to reconnect its notifier too aggressive in a short period of time; this has been addressed by throttling the notifier retries. {OPW-1356}
• 1Password was logging too much with the notifier issues. {OPW-1353}

6.7.454  (build #454) – released 2017-08-01

6.7.451  (build #451) – released 2017-07-28

Here's the TL;DR on what's new in 1Password 6.7:

• One-Time Passwords (TOTP) will be copied to the clipboard by default when filling logins, with clipboard contents restored after the code has expired.
• Faster sync, connection, and authentication with 1Password.com, especially when going offline or switching networks.
• Documents can be added offline and will upload when you connect to the internet, or resumed if the connection was lost.

6.6.439  (build #439) – released 2017-06-19

Good news, everyone! 1Password 6.6 for Windows is finally here -- the biggest update we've done for 1Password 6 since its first release back in October.

We've added many of the features you've been asking for: Rich Icons now adorne your items, you can mark items as Favorites, move items betweens vaults and 1Password accounts, duplicate items, restore items from Trash, and the list goes on. No, really, it does. Just keep scrolling through the summary below. You'll see.

Along with these new features, we've also given 1Password a fresh coat of paint -- a new sidebar in the main 1Password window along with a redesigned vault menu where you can search for a specific vault or select a specific account to view its vaults. This also applies to 1Password mini with a new sidebar color and the new vault menu. Speaking of 1Password mini, it has been greatly improved with more accurate matching as well as filtering out any items you don't want to see, better and more accurate search results, Favorites accessible on the sidebar, and more in the same long list that we've mentioned.

One more thing, we've also added the Automatic Update feature to this update. With this enabled by default, 1Password will automatically update whenever it is locked and sees there is an available update. That way, when you come back to 1Password, it'll tell you it has updated itself (you can click to open the release notes) and you're ready to start using the newer version effortlessly.

Important: Import is now the preferred method for migrating existing local vaults to a 1Password account. The older, unsupported manual-sync method has been deprecated in this update.

• If you're on a locked down computer, clicking on the link to create a new 1Password account with the default browser that is not authorized may cause 1Password to crash.

6.5.400  (build #400) – released 2017-04-05

Spring is here and we've got another big update for you today! 1Password 6.5 comes with Watchtower, Update Existing Logins and Save New Login manually via 1Password mini, Clear Clipboard, new Native Messaging-based browser integration for Chrome, and more.

Important: Due to upcoming external API changes, we are retiring 3rd party sync options (Dropbox & OneDrive), and simplifying the migration by reworking the import process to handle this step. If you have vaults opened via Dropbox or OneDrive, they will automatically be converted to local folders.

• Watchtower is here! Watchtower will alert you when your Login item needs to be updated due to a security issue on the site.
• Native-Messaging support in the 1Password browser extension for Chrome. This is enabled by default and will be used by the upcoming 1Password 4.6.4 extension update. Firefox support is coming later this year.

• We've fixed a couple of styling issues on the Unlock Local Vault page; the Open Vault button is center-aligned and the Master Password is accessible to screen readers.
• When dragging the Account Code QR barcode into the Sign In page, the Secret Key and Email Address were placed in the wrong fields.
• Your proxy settings are now applied when checking for an update via HockeyApp.
• All crashes reports submitted to us are fixed, thank you for submitting them.

In this huge 1Password 6.4 update, we have a lot of improvements for you; a brand new design for 1Password mini, category filtering in 1Password mini, huge search improvements (all fields, partial terms, etc), auto-submit support in Chrome, a brand new installer/updater, adjustable font size, all columns now resizable in the main interface, an improved sync subsystem that will automatically resolve sync conflicts, a lot of UI refinements, and so much more, read below to see them:

New

• Brand new 1Password mini design: category filtering is finally here along with the Strong Password Generator in the main view. Expect more enhancements in the near future.
• Multiple search terms in search: you can now add up to five search terms in the search field to narrow down what you're looking for.
• Partial search terms: 1Password will search for anything that matches the terms even they're partially complete such as `lov` which would return `love`, `loving`, `loved`. `Lov` `y` can return `we love you` as well.
• Right-click on an item in 1Password mini to open or edit the item in the main 1Password program.
• Automatically resolve sync conflicts: 1Password will now be able to merge changes made on two or more separate devices at the same time. This will resolve all of the reported sync errors, thank you for reporting them to us.
• Font sizes are now adjustable! You can set the font size by using `Control + / -` keyboard shortcuts or use `Control + 0` to reset to your system's default font size.
• A brand new, quicker, smarter, and more reliable installer to allow more awesome features. Including no more administrative rights required (it'll ask at the end but you can deny it), 1Password stays pinned to taskbar and start menu after updates, install/updates will autostart 1Password after it is done, no random file names during the installation process, and much more.
• Image barcode scanner for the custom TOTP field. You can now copy the barcode image and click on the scanner icon within TOTP field to decode it.
• Full text search, you can now search in all fields.
• You can now resize the categories sidebar and 1Password will remember your choice on the next launch.
• 1Password will prompt that its local database password has been updated after you sign in again to update your 1Password.com account's password.
• Multiple Chrome Profiles are now supported with 1Password mini.
• Auto-submit is now supported in Chrome.
• Your list of items can now be sorted by Vault when viewing All Vaults.
• More keyboard shortcuts: Control + L on a selected field to open "Large Type", Control + C to copy, Control + R to reveal, Control + Alt to reveal all concealed fields, and finally, ESC to cancel editing.
• Web form details are now editable in the item editor.
• Device de-authorization is now supported.
• Support for Intel® Software Guard Extensions (Intel® SGX). This option is only available for compatible machines with SGX enabled.

Improvements

• Refreshed item details viewer: continuing on our last update with the new item editor, we're now reusing the same approach to render both details viewer and editor views. Switching between editing and viewing should feel much nicer now.
• The address field in the item details viewer is now human-friendly with the complete address including the country's full name laid out instead of a simple one-line field.
• No more duplicated copy button next to all fields, the buttons will appear when you hover over the field or use the keyboard to navigate.
• We've improved how related items look, it now shows the field name, icon and file name, you can also change the field name in the item editor.
• Multiple UI improvements to reduce the view refreshes when data change events occurs.
• When sorting by dates, 1Password will now inner sort by date instead of the alphabetical order.
• 1Password will remember if you were searching when it auto-locks, unlocking will take you back to the search view.
• 1Password now includes its build number when connecting to our 1Password.com servers, this will help with informing you when you're using an outdated version and prompt you to update.
• 1Password will reconnect more aggressively when your computer drops the internet connection.
• 1Password will append the conflict section to your items to include any conflicting data when resolving sync conflicts.
• The item's password history is now read-only, as it is a history record of the passwords you've used for the item.
• When editing an item, you can press the ESC key to cancel the changes.
• Removed /raw command to replace it with the raw item viewer that's accessible via the F-12 shortcut.
• Added an option to disable the use of EFS when saving documents via the Settings menu > Options > Security.
• Rendering of 1Password mini has been improved, activating 1Password mini is now faster.
• 1Password mini no longer shows excessive Password items when Login items exist for the current website tab, it will only show them when no login items exists.
• 1Password mini now sorts the login items by subdomain first when on a website, more advanced filtering coming soon.
• Initial unlock will show a loading progress indicator in the item list and refresh as soon as it is done, instead of showing the UUID titles.
• 1Password's minimal width has been reduced. You can resize 1Password to be narrower.
• Advanced encryption settings has been moved into its own Advanced tab within Options.
• Better handling of suspended/deleted users for 1Password.com Families / Teams accounts.
• Added additional security verifications of our connections to our 1Password.com servers.
• 1Password will accept the different names for Personal and Shared vaults from 1Password.com servers rather than hardcoded to "Personal" and "Shared".
• 1Password now defaults to auto-starting itself upon reboots, this will help with 1Password mini being ready for you when you start your web browser with the 1Password extension.
• 1Password can now install without any admin rights required, however it will ask at the end of the setup of which you can deny. This specific request is for registering our own logs with Windows Event Viewer, such action requires admin rights. We'll look into a different solution to negate this requirement. This is a one-time only, every updates afterward will not require admin rights.
• The new installer will make sure to close all files needed before updating to a new version, this is most useful on older systems where updating can fail because Windows didn't close the files in time.
• During the setup and update processes, 1Password will log any issues related to the installation to your `%TEMP%\1Password\` directory.
• Improved uninstaller to clean up any registry keys we use for 1Password.
• Category filtering is now available in all 1Password mini views, select the category you want and search within that category.
• In 1Password mini, search is now available in the vault selector to find the vault you want right away.
• You can select a specific sidebar tab of 1Password mini with "Alt + 0-9" shortcuts; "Alt + 0" for Vault Selector, "Alt + 1" for All Items, "Alt + 2" for Logins", etc.
• Search terms are retained in 1Password mini when you switch between category filters.
• In 1Password mini, pressing the Escape key will clear the search field and if the search field is already cleared, it will dismiss the 1Password mini window. That also means you can press the key twice to clear the search field and to dismiss 1Password mini.
• Strong Password Generator is now easily accessible in 1Password mini's sidebar.
• 1Password mini will now fill your Credit Card and Identity items if you bring it up via the "Control + Alt + \" shortcut.
• Improvements to the windows state tracking, both 1Password and 1Password mini will now restore to the active monitor(s) only, including the auto-save dialogs.
• 1Password will keep track of the location of 1Password's Strong Password Generator window.
• The vault selector is now consistently sorted across all 1Password and 1Password mini windows, including the auto-save dialog and in the settings.
• Selecting non-fillable items in 1Password mini will now open up in the main 1Password window consistently.
• Import from legacy vaults and 1PIF import files are improved, subtitles for items are correctly implemented when importing from 1PIF files. Older generic account items are imported as Login items with their credentials in the right place.
• If you've previously already imported such legacy 1PIF files and you see missing subtitles, you can now repair them. To do this, select these items missing the subtitles and enter the `/repair` command in the search field of 1Password 6. For generic items, please re-import them and they'll be fixed during the import process.

Fixed

• Signing out of the last account should now restore you to the welcome setup.
• 1Password will restore its windows properly on PCs that are not using the English-US locale.
• Removed options from 1Password mini that cannot be used.
• In the item details viewer, the field buttons will now scale with the font size changes.
• It is now possible to copy items from a frozen 1Password.com account to a vault in an active account.
• Trashed items will now appear in the Offline/Sync Errors list.
• After losing an Internet connection to our servers, 1Password will now attempt to do a full session reauthorization to reconnect to our servers.
• Compatibility with AppLocker on corporate-managed Windows PCs.
• No more missing website field label when editing a Login item to add more website fields.
• 1Password will no longer display empty values in the item details viewer.
• When there are no matching search results, the item list will now display a blank list instead of not refreshing the list.
• Renamed the inaccurate "uploaded" to "ready to upload on save" when attaching a file to a Document item. 1Password will upload the file after you save the item first. Ability to save attachments offline is coming in a future update.
• 1Password will now log new browser extension rejections from other users on the same computer in 'Browsers' setting instead of notifying you.
• Clicking on the HockeyApp link within the beta build section of updates no longer open up the web-view, it opens in the default browser.
• Export is now supported while the 1Password account is frozen.
• 1Password mini no longer redraws itself when accidentally double-clicking or pressing the shortcut again, it'll ignore these excessive calls and retain the current window.
• Copying your account key is now properly formatted via your 1Password account menu in Settings > Options.
• Internal log improvements.
• Multiple crash fixes for the reports submitted via the crash submission tool, thank you guys!

We have a little present for you today, 1Password 6.2 is here with a brand new item editor that now supports the ability to create custom sections, custom fields, multiple URLs and more to come in future updates. • Brand new item editor: You can customize your items with custom sections and fields.
• Custom field support: you can now create and change between text, URL, email, address, date, month/year, One-Time Password, Password, and Phone field types.
• Multiple URL support: Thanks to the new item editor, you can now add more URL fields to your Login items.
• You can re-order custom fields and multiple URL fields by focusing the field and use the "Alt + Up or Down" keys to move it up and down, drag handles will be added soon.
• Double-click on Logins in the main 1Password window to open the primary URL as it now supports multiple URLs in your default browser.

Happy Thanksgiving! We have a new update for you to use while you eat the delicious food and help your family with their computer issues.

In this update, we've made a lot of internal improvements to the sync and lock subsystems, plus a few new features. One big new feature is the Pending Changes category that shows up on the top of the left sidebar. This shows you any items that have not been synced like if you've made changes while you're offline at your family's house because you don't yet have the Wi-Fi password.

• New keyboard shortcuts for editing (Control + E) and saving your items (Control + S)
• Now shows the "Pending Changes" on top of the left sidebar, this will show you all items that has not yet been sync'ed and/or rejected by the 1Password.com servers.
• Holding the "Control + Alt" keyboard shortcut while opening 1Password will bypass the window state restoration process, this is useful for when your monitor setup has changed.
• New "Clear Search" button in the search field and a keyboard shortcut to clear it with ("Escape").

• Unified locking experience across all open 1Password windows.
• If you change your 1Password account's email address on the 1Password.com web site, 1Password will automatically detect it and update it internally without requiring you to sign in again.

We've found a few rare bugs that caused 1Password to get stuck in a sync loop with the 1Password.com servers, this update will address these excessive sync attempts among other reported sync issues. Thank you for reporting these issues.

• If your 1Password.com account has been rate-limited due to making too many requests at the same time, 1Password will inform you of this and prevent itself from making further sync attempts until the limit is lifted first.

• Initial sync after launching the program

• If the sign-in failed due to invalid credentials, do not automatically try again.
• Will no longer sync previously rejected items.

• The default update check frequency is now set to once a day.
• When using multiple Dropbox and/or OneDrive accounts, 1Password will list the account names individually in the Settings > Accounts & Vaults menu.
• Related Items are now clickable in the item details viewer, it will take you directly to the item.
• The design of Related Items is improved to show you the category icon and the name of the item instead of item's ID. If the item is a Document item and the attachment for it has been downloaded, the file name will show up instead of the item's title.

• After refusing to authorize the 1Password browser extension, the 1Password extension will now let you try again instead of requiring a browser restart.
